For Dr. Galaz, dentistry became a calling after experiencing an act of kindness that shaped his life and inspired him to serve others with the same compassion. For Arianna, the journey has always been about people—ensuring each patient feels comfortable, respected, and connected from the moment they walk through the door. Together, they envisioned GLĀZ Dental Studio as more than just a dental office—it’s a reflection of their values, their heritage, and their commitment to giving back to the community they call home. Dr. George Galaz was born in Santiago, Chile, and raised in western Canada before moving to Katy, Texas. A proud graduate of Seven Lakes High School, Dr. Galaz is honored to return to his local community to care for the families and neighbors he grew up around. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at Arlington and went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, where he received the Warren A. Parker Award for Outstanding Contributions in Community Dentistry. For Dr. Galaz, dentistry isn’t just a profession—it’s a calling inspired by a deeply personal experience. When his family first immigrated to Canada, his parents worked custodial night shifts, including one at a dental office. After learning of their dream to build a better life, the dentist welcomed the Galaz family into his care and supported them through those early years with compassion and generosity. These acts of kindness left a lasting impression on Dr. Galaz and inspired him to pursue dentistry with the same spirit of generosity and compassion. As one of the very few Spanish-speaking Latino dentists in the area, Dr. Galaz and his wife are proud to provide care that reflects his Chilean roots and her family’s Mexican heritage—offering patients a warm, culturally familiar experience. Beyond dentistry, Dr. Galaz enjoys sharing life with his wife, Arianna, whether it’s playing guitar at home, lacing up his skates for hockey in Sugar Land, or giving back through Texas Mission of Mercy volunteer work each year.
Arianna Galaz is the heart of GLĀZ Dental Studio, serving as both Office Manager and Co-Founder alongside her husband, Dr. George Galaz. With a strong background in patient care and practice operations, Arianna is dedicated to creating an experience where every patient feels welcomed, comfortable, and truly cared for. Her passion for dentistry stems from her belief that going to the dentist should feel personal, not clinical. She takes pride in guiding patients through their visits with warmth, clarity, and compassion, ensuring they always feel like part of the GLĀZ family. Outside the studio, Arianna enjoys staying active and working out, spending time with her husband and discovering new restaurants and activities around Houston. She is proud to help bring the vision of GLĀZ Dental Studio to life and serve the community she and her husband call home.
